UPDATE: My Hero Academia Collectible Card Game

Last year at Gen Con we announced the launch of our new line of UniVersus collectible card game, featuring My Hero Academia to release in early 2020. The response we received was astounding! Today we’d like to announce our expected release for the first set of the My Hero Academia Collectible Card Game to be the second half of Quarter 2, 2020. It was our hope to release in Quarter 1, however we feel that waiting to release the game during this new time frame is highly beneficial.

With the upcoming release of My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising, both Toho and Funimation have been quite busy preparing for the film’s theatrical debut in the United States. With their attentions focused on the movie’s performance, we were asked to postpone the release of our first set until later in the year when all three companies could give it the attention it deserves.

With that said, we are excited to announce to you all that in the weeks and months leading up to the release of the game, we will be releasing articles and design diaries beginning in March revealing the contents of the set. These articles will focus on the heroes, their play styles and synergies, as well as the overall themes of the set.

We will have sneak previews of our products available at the GAMA Expo in Reno, NV in March for retailers and distributors. Pre-Orders are available through our normal distributors and will be available on our own website very soon.

But hey, wait!!! We’re not done yet. Our Deck-Loadable Content has recently launched and the first pack will be available on Friday, February 14. We will continue releasing new DLC packs monthly for the remainder of 2020. Pre-Orders are still available on our website by clicking HERE.

We also have a new episode of The Joffice out today. You can find it HERE.
